well they say you shouldn't do it, but i did... i Googled my own name.
I was pleased to see that the actual me takes up the first page and a half of the results, for one reason or another. Which is nice. However, the reason i have thought this relevant enough to mention here and now is that i found something else which definately isn't me and i wanted to bring that to everyone's attention (i say 'everyone'... there can only be three regular visitors to this blog. ha!); the SimplyScripts thing is not me. i have written no horror scripts or screenplays.
there now, i've said it..
I have actually always wanted to write something, still now i try and formulate ideas into a coherent theme of text, but as is the story with all the creative stuff i do... i will see/read someone else's efforts and think to myself that what i do will never scratch up. hmm.
anyhoo.
i'm recoving from a nasty headache which lasted about twelve hours.
that is all.

our resident Rudy controls the local weather
DragonDrop says:
this is great. The man in the picture is called Jesus Christ. I think. He used to be called Rudy but he changed his name by depol fairly recently.
He controls the weather. He stares at the sun for hours a day.
He's probably Harrogate's most known person. Everyone who regularly walks through Harrogate will of heard him singing and shouting. Usually quite happy and well natured, but generally quite loud.

moo turns eight
eight years already?! crikey only seems like yesterday.....! time flies... my beautiful daugter turned eight this weekend, and all activity surrounded that. Friday was a birthday tea at her mum's which was beautifully put together by Pen followed by a late night run around in Caroline's garden. Saturday we spent the day with her best friend from school, dressing dolls and watching Bratz dvds and then visted the pub garden across the road for a bite to eat and again run around with her friends, later in the evening a couple of our good friends popped over with a present or two for moo, ...Sunday was a lovely picnic by the river involving friends from all the various camps; school, her mum's friends and mine. It was lovely for everyone to meet, a perfect balance of boys and girls splashing around in the river and a perfect mix of grown ups being grown-up. I think moo was a little over-whelmed by it all by the time bed-time came on Sunday. But a great weekend all round. She fell asleep to my singing of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.... good times.
