The end of the year is just around the corner, i'm already considering the new year resolutions.
A couple i've already announced;

I shall refer to my flat as "chambers".

Certain studio pipe dreams discussed before now with currently absent friends should be set in concrete.
(thats you tofu just in case you missed the obvious reference)

I intend to drink more.

to say yes to more questions.

And continue make the most of my dirty flirty thirties.

This will be updated i'm sure.
But in the mean time... I'll open a bottle and have a drink towards a Happy end of year lull/ lead in to new year to my new friends, my old friends, absent friends and silent friends.
Get thinking about those resolutions.

Stranded.
I didn't do much at all christmas day. Opened just a couple of prezzies, drank coffee, ate toast and watched the telly with some loaded cigarettes. One of those days recovering from the night before (and what a night! Sandwich anyone?), but snuggled under a blanket on the sofa getting just a wee bit choked by disney films. If it is possible to have a christmas off...i've done it. And you know, I loved it.
My daughter comes to me tomorrow. We'll make some noise then I think.
Woke up mid morning today, lay in bed and made a plan; Shopping, a visit to some cats, rats and fish (which I am supposed to be feeding), followed up by a visit to my apparently immortal grandmother. Simple plan. Oh no. Nothing is ever that simple. Today is a public holiday. First day of the sales. But there is no public transport. No buses, no trains to carry the drinking/shopping public to and fro. All the shops in knaresborough are closed too (except woolworths obviously) . The contradiction is confusing me.
So i'm stood in the market square watching some of the locals racing around on space hoppers. God himself only knows why. They've drawn quite a crowd.

Christmas eve. Got pissed with an old mate. We'll call him nick for the ske of argument. We watched jam night at the blues bar. cJ turned up too. A bit late, but he showed. No shackles on either of their legs...
The girls and boys were hot. And the jammers played nirvana. Good stuff.

...well i have. i always get pee shy at the urinal. i took this because as i walked into the toilets of the blues bar, there was a guy stood at the middle urinal. as i walked past him to the cubicle he tutted his disapproval. i dunno maybe he was wanting to actually have a look see at my man bits... all he had to do was ask, it wouldn't've been the first time that had happened in a public toilet. ha!

...no heavy beer-ing last night... so no hungover ramblings this week.
i did wake up angry though. which wasn't very nice. Dunno what that was about but it was the usual suspects that were annoying me.
By the time i'd had a shower, it was behind me.

...with being the only one in the office, i thought i'd take an actual lunch break today. they're generally discouraged. so a play with my camera phone, a play with the nikon d2xs, a cuppa tea and lulu wailing about a man with a golden gun on i-tunes.... wierd thing is that playing with the super dooper nikon, i had no idea what to shoot with it so i put it down again. its not the most inspirational piece of equipment. think i prefer the canon eos 5d that my man (and work colleague) steiglitz (flickr id, not the actual dead steiglitz, that would be wierd) has. i may save for some such model.
