A bit of thursday morning.

I was quite 'squiffy' when I went to bed last night, hung over and forgot to shave this morning. Havn't had a proper mid week celebration with The Rev Dino, now Lord Bishop Ott3r, for months it seems.
We stood on the steps by the front door for most of the evening smoking fags and chatting to people, old, new and some inbetween, as the band was the equivalent to having molten candy floss poured over your face. Just my opinion, others seemed to be enjoying the one-note whine that spanned various songs and beats.
With the ups and downs of the last few weeks, it was refreshing to identify that there are other pebbles on the beach (so to speak). I went to bed with a smile on my face.

My mother used to smile, when she had her own teeth that is. how I miss those tender moments. Let out of the backdoor of the renault 4 on a laybye on the side of the A1 in the morning dew and watching the blue puff of diesal exhaust as they pulled away to Bridlington for a weeks holiday.

golden memories. I'll never forget the time when dad took the wooden splints, made from bamboo, from under my fingernails. It had been 6 months. Sometimes I don't think people know what love really means. That is the fondest memory of my father. I wish everyone was as lucky as me.

Good luck x
